OFAD Lads & Lasses,

As you likely know, our co-host Caleb Castro is the pastor of Rock Valley United Reformed Church in Rock Valley, Iowa. Late last week, the community of Rock Valley was devastated by record flooding. Caleb and his family are fine, but the church building was damaged, much of the town and surrounding area flooded, and many congregants have suffered loss. Caleb is taking a temporary break from OFAD to better attend to his pastoral duties in this difficult time.

Please keep Caleb, the congregation at RVURC, and others impacted in the area in your prayers. If you would like to help, Reformed Mission Services is raising funds and coordinating volunteer efforts.

OFAD will continue, though it may be a bit more sporadic than usual in the near future. We have one previously recorded episode that should release this week. Andrew is working on lining up some guests and some possible solo content. As always, we appreciate our listeners’ patience, prayers, and continued support.
